What it is good at
- Full layouts in 15 languages
- Design-aware
ByteDance · Image · 14 credits per image
Pick Seedream 5.0 Pro when the image is a designed piece rather than a photo. Think of posters, infographics, comic pages and multilingual layouts. It costs 14 credits per image and runs inside eight Ugesi tools.
14 credits per image.
ByteDance built this version to be design-aware, and it can lay out full compositions in 15 languages. In practice that means a bilingual event poster or a product sheet with labeled callouts. The same goes for a step diagram for a how-to post or a comic panel with speech balloons. It is less suited to close-up skin and natural faces, which is listed as its main limit.
For a poster, open AI Image Generator and start from the Poster with text preset. For charts and explainers, AI Infographic Generator offers Timeline, Steps, Comparison, Statistics and Process map. Comic pages go through AI Comic Generator, with presets such as Noir detective and Manga action. AI Anime Generator covers Shonen hero, Cozy cafe and similar styles.
Two tools take an uploaded image. Image to Image lets you keep a scene and change it. Its presets include Change the season and Product variant. AI Character Generator accepts a reference so a figure stays recognizable across Cinematic, Comic or 3D render looks. AI Avatar Generator and AI Portrait Generator also run on it. For a lifelike portrait, though, you may prefer Nano Banana Pro.
"A4 vertical poster for a jazz night, title in Japanese and English. Date block bottom left, ticket QR placeholder bottom right. Deep blue background with gold line art of a saxophone."
"Infographic in five steps showing how to brew pour-over coffee. Numbered circles, one icon per step, short German labels, warm beige palette." Spell out every text string you want and say where it goes. The model handles layout well when you give it a grid to fill.
Recraft V3 is 6 credits and is strong on logos and long in-image text with consistent brand styles. Its availability depends on the catalog, though. Imagen 4 at 10 credits was the safer call for headshots. However, Google shut it down in its Gemini API in August 2026, and it is retired here. Nano Banana at 12 credits suits quick drafts from a prompt. Seedream 5.0 Pro ranks No. 32 of 41, counting from the cheapest. Reserve it for the pieces where layout and language coverage carry the result.
A single image is 14 credits, about $0.15 at the best pack. Ten separate runs come to 140 credits, roughly $1.49. A sensible routine is to draft the layout in one or two runs. Then spend the rest refining the text and colors.

Outputs made with paid credits can be used commercially. The maker's own rules for Seedream 5.0 Pro also apply (ByteDance terms for AI services). The full rules are in our Terms of service.
It is listed with full layouts in 15 languages. Write the exact text in the target language inside quotes in your prompt. That works better than asking the model to translate it.
Yes. The engine reads an image input. On Ugesi you supply it through Image to Image or AI Character Generator, which both accept an upload.
It works, but photoreal skin is its listed weak spot. Imagen 4 at 10 credits is the listed face alternative. However, Google shut it down in its Gemini API in August 2026, and it is retired on Ugesi. For a headshot that has to hold up, try Nano Banana Pro.
No. Recraft V3 costs 6 credits per image against 14 here. Recraft is the better value for logos and brand text; Seedream earns the difference on multilingual and full-page layouts.
