Recraft V3 AI Image Generator

What Recraft V3 is built for

Recraft V3 was trained for design work rather than photography. It produces clean shapes, balanced layouts and long lines of text without the warped letters other models often make. Posters, logo ideas, icons and social graphics are where it is at its best.

How to get a usable layout

Name the format and the hierarchy in your prompt. For example: a square poster, a bold headline at the top and a small date line at the bottom. The middle holds a flat illustration of a bicycle. Recraft keeps that kind of structure better than general image models.

Limits worth knowing

This page returns a raster image, not an editable vector file. A logo still needs to be redrawn for print. For photoreal scenes and people, FLUX 2 [max] or Nano Banana Pro are the better choice. Both are linked in the form.

Prompt patterns for a brand set

Recraft V3 keeps a brand style consistent. Write one style line and reuse it word for word across a series. Change only the subject and the text. A style line might read: "flat shapes, mustard and charcoal palette, rounded sans-serif lettering, generous margins". Then add the job: "icon of a bicycle bell, label 'Repairs' under it" for one card. For the next, use "icon of a wrench, label 'Parts' under it". Keeping the style line identical is what makes the cards look like one family. The Flat illustration preset is a sensible base for that line.

Settings, cost and the neighbors in this form

Recraft V3 has no Format menu here and reads the prompt only. For an exact 16:9 or 9:16 layout, use FLUX 2 [max] at 16 credits. At 6 credits an image, ten cards cost 60 credits, less than two Nano Banana Pro runs. FLUX schnell at 1 credit is cheaper still for testing ideas, but weak at lettering. For dense small type or very literal instructions, GPT Image 2 at 14 is stronger. Multilingual layouts suit Seedream 5.0 Pro at 14. After FLUX schnell, Recraft V3 is the cheapest model here, so it suits trying several layout ideas.
