How to use Instagram Caption Generator
Start from a caption style
Click a "Style preset" chip: Short and punchy, Storytelling, Question hook, List or Launch. It fills the box with a complete sample brief and replaces what you typed. Start here, then rewrite the sample photo and details to match your post.
Describe the photo and the rules
In "What is the post about?", say what the photo shows and what the caption must do. Cover length, tone, emoji or not, and the number of hashtags. Try "photo of our first loaf from the new oven, two short lines, warm, a little funny, three hashtags". Hashtags appear only when you ask for them.
Make it sound like you
Paste one of your earlier captions into the box as a sample, and the result copies its register. Writing for LinkedIn, TikTok or Threads instead? Name the platform in the text.
Read the first line, then refine
Press "Generate captions" and read the opening aloud: feeds hide the rest behind "more". If it sounds generic, ask for an opening question or a specific detail and run again. Keep hashtags at the end, not in the middle of a sentence.
What a real job costs here
Runs on this page cost 3 credits. At the best pack rate that is about $0.0319.

What this model is good at and where it stops
Short-form Copy
The first line is the whole caption
Feeds truncate after a few words. A question or a specific detail earns the tap. Generic openers do not.
Five styles, five different posts
Short and punchy, a small story, a question hook, a list or a launch announcement. The same photo works differently under each one.
At three credits a run, you can pick
Generate several, read them out loud, keep the one that sounds like you. That is cheaper than staring at an empty caption field.
What sits behind the more button
Everything after the first line sits behind a "more" button that most people never press. Put the hook, the claim or the question first. Treat the rest as context for the few who expand. Hashtags belong at the end or in a comment, not in the middle of a sentence.
Frequently asked questions
Will it add hashtags?
Ask for them in the prompt. Left alone it writes the caption only.
Can it match my voice?
Paste one of your old captions into the prompt as an example. The model copies the register.
Does it work for other platforms?
Yes. The same tool covers LinkedIn, TikTok and Threads if you name the platform.
How many credits does one round of Instagram captions take?
3 credits per run. The exact total appears above the button before you generate.
